Should we care what they think?
It's been a while since our last, post but we've been thinking of a new way to convey our message to all of you. Originally we wanted to show you places to hang out and have fun with your friends and family so you can live life to the fullest...but we realised something! Even if you go to these places we recommended, it doesn't guarantee that you'll enjoy yourselves, and be as relaxed as you should be. So we put a little video of ourselves together to show you....

The best kebab in Sydney!!!!
Jimmy's kebab located at North Parramatta, no doubt the best kebab I've ever tasted in Sydney. Sure it's no different then your ordinary typical late night kebab stand when you drive past the place, But if you stop by and grab one you will notice Jimmy throws in so much more ingredient into his kebab then any other kebab stands. The place is great there's load of parking right next to the kebab stand and most importantly it opens till 4am in the morning, which means a great place to chill after clubbing or outing with a massive wrap packed with meat and vegetables. I had the chicken kebab tonight and I also recommend the bread roll instead of the kebab wrap at times, both taste equally amazing.

City Extra Parramatta
Just another traditional western restaurant I came across today when I was in Parramatta. One of the best thing I love about this place is that it opens 24 hours a day, perfect place for clubbers during weekends and casual late outings on the weekdays. The food on the menu are pretty simple, just your traditional burgers, pasta, soup etc, The whole restaurant consists of a inside diner and also a outdoor dinner for the smokers or customers who enjoy the busy street view. I personally love this place because the design and the atmosphere of the place just makes me feel like I'm in one of those diners you see in an american movie.

Genki, Japanese fast food
Recently, I went to a Japanese resturant called Genki in Artarmon to order my take away dinner. It is a fast food style Japanese resturant serving meals such as Ramen, Curry Katsu, Gyoza, rice don and many other you can think of. You order and pay first and find you seat just like any fast food resturant. But you need to know that it is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. There are lots of parking spaces avaliable in the area and it is very close to the Artarmon train station. I highly reccomend Genki to you becuase it is cheap, traditional and of high quality. I love theirCurry Katsu rice, my absolute favorite. I really liked their curry sauce, I think it is one of the best Japanese curry in Sydney.

Granville Swap Meet:)
As some of you may know I love to collect things and have collected many things so far like sneakers and vintage T-shirts. Among those things, there is one collection which I've kept collecting almost 15 years. I've never quit collecting them and sometimes I did it at any cost. What I'm talking about is die cast cars. Today I am going to share you guys a really nice place for buying vintage diecast cars.
Setting up!!! |
The Granville Swap meet was heldby SYDNEY MODEL AUTO CLUB on the every second Friday night of each month. Theswapmeet venue is at a Catholic school in Granville, using their hall as themain trading area with tables arrayed quite densely, and tables also availableoutside the main hall. This event gives collectors for trading or selling fortoys and other newer collectibles, hardly old stuff to buy. There are differentstalls for old furniture, toys, porcelain, junks etc.
Main trading area |
There are stalls like the one shown below which sell mainly toy cars but their prices are hardly a bargain. You will have to be alert for stalls which sells general stuff as they might have toy cars as well. You could get them at a better price compared to stalls specialised in toy cars.
There is a corner for people who are into vintage toy cars. This is seriously for me and i did find something interesting here.

Waqu, Japanese and Western fusion resturant
Hi welcome back everyone, recently I went to a really romantic restaurant with my family called the Waqu. Waqu is located in Crows Nest in the Pacific Highway The restaurant serve course set menu from $45 to $68 per person, the style of food offered in Waqu is a fusion of Japanese food with western food. You start from an appetizer, to your main and then lastly a dessert. It is a six course set that we had, six courses seems a lot, but each course is presented neatly and rather small proportion, so six course was just enough for me. If you are a vegetarian, there is also a vegetarian course available. I highly reccomend couples to have a candle night dinner at Waqu because the atmosphere is very romantic there.
The biggest appeals about Waqu for me is the romantic atmosphere, the setting of the 6 diffrent courses and it is an ideal restaurant for you and your friend to chat for as long as you want, becuase the preparation for each different course is quite lengthy.
